Edward Steichen
1879 - 1973 born in Luxembourg lived and worked in the USA.
Worked with Alfred Stieglitz for "Camera Work" magazine, joined the Photosecession Group and studied painting in Paris.
After WW1 he worked for Vogue and Vanity Fair and portrayed the most famous people of his time.
As Director of Photography at the MOMA he created the very popular exhibition " The Family of Man" in 1955
